Alonzo Speight
Alonzo Speight collaborated with Al Santana to make Military Options (Third World Newsreel, 2005). “Rico” Speight is an independent producer/director/writer of film and theatre and also a film/video editor and educator. His production credits include documentaries, narratives, television productions, web productions, and live theatre. Alonzo’s narrative film credits include Choices, an original narrative short starring Samuel L Jackson, which premiered at “Prized Pieces” Fest in Columbus, Ohio in 1992. In 1990 and in 1993, he was awarded artist fellowships by the New York Foundation for the Arts in film and video.
