Portfolio Tools: The Video Biography

Sometimes a resume and a business card may not be enough. This 3-week intensive media making process focuses on creating short 3 - 5 minute Video Bios to be used as a marketable resource for independent artists and/or entrepreneurs. Participants will gain basic skills for producing creative media content that highlights the unique skills and talents of each individual. The workshop will also incorporate social media resources, to spotlight the particular artistry of the video bio subject. Participants will acquire basic training with audiovisual recording/editing, Final Cut Pro X, low budget DIY website building, using open source and free online resources.
9 Sessions – Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays; August 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 25, 27, and 29 ; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM and Saturdays, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
