Since 2003, Scribe Video Center’s Precious Places Community History Project has facilitated the production of 124 short documentaries about the spaces that hold the memories of our communities and define where we live. Precious Places teaches the video production process to participating groups, fostering projects authored by those who intimately know the featured neighborhoods best.

Join Scribe in premiering 6 new films in the Precious Places Community History Project, including documentaries on the African American Museum of Philadelphia in Old City, East Mt. Airy Neighbors in East Mt. Airy, Green’s Ladies Golf Club in Sicklerville, NJ, Hook & Loop at Carousel House in West Philadelphia, Lee Cultural Center and Kulu Mele in West Philadelphia, and North City Congress in North Philadelphia.
