This master class from award winning cinematographer Kirsten Johnson explores varied approaches to creative visual storytelling. Participants will consider choices and options in shooting styles and also learn some of production exercises Johnson uses to develop a strategy to capture visual stories.

Kirsten Johnson has worked as a documentary cinematographer and director, committing her lifework to human rights issues and visual creativity. She has been principal cinematographer on over 40 feature-length documentaries, including Citizenfour, Fahrenheit 9/11, and Trapped.
