Stephanie’s life in Philadelphia developed along two distinct professional tracks: marketing/promotions and performance. She spent nearly five years as a copywriter and broadcast producer at Beach Advertising, developing award-winning campaigns for a diverse client base including the School District of Philadelphia, PECO Energy and Rock The Vote. In her personal life, Stephanie was honing her vocal and acting skills in musical theater productions with Society Hill Playhouse and Freedom Theater, before deciding to quit her day job and pursue a deeper connection to the arts full-time.
Over the past 16 years, Stephanie has shared her gifts on the national and international stage, and on a long list of successful recordings. Her love for the arts and a passion for education led her to several partnerships with national non-profit organizations to develop curricula in creative expression and multicultural/diversity literacy. After being introduced to the WURD family as a fill-in host, Stephanie is now a beloved presence on the airwaves every weekday morning from 10a to noon on The MOJO, and serves as the station’s Program Director, where she is responsible for overseeing the station’s production staff, overall soundprint, schedule and editorial content.
