Excerpts from The WAVES concert by Kyle Austin
Composer, performer, and educator Kyle Austin will perform live alongside his audio-reactive visuals and excerpts from the WAVES concert which he scored.

The WAVES concert is a live concert composed in tribute to the lives of Thelonious Monk and Bud Powell, two of America’s most prodigious jazz composers and performers. Both were subjected to electro-shock therapy, police brutality, and the horrors of the Jim Crow era. Through it all, their indomitable skills shone.

Free admission is made possible by FreeView, a program suppored by PNC Arts Alive.
