Jubilee Voices
Students from the Jubilee School use their WPEB Radio Program Jubilee Voices to conduct interviews about city issues pertaining to the 2023 May election. This includes gang violence, educational equality, and poverty along with historic moments in Philadelphia history. Jubilee Voices is a platform for students to conduct interviews that contribute to their history lessons in class and act as research for the books that they publish.

Victoria Best
Community organizer, Victoria Best, founder of Victoria Urban Tutoring Service, provides educational support to low-income residents of Philadelphia, promoting access to superlative educational resources. She is a product of the Philadelphia Foster Care System, and once working teenage mother, having held teaching roles at the Philadelphia School District as well as carried out support roles by residential, mental health and drug/alcohol facilities. Her West Philadelphia Voices segments expand discussions on Civic Engagement, speaking on Prisoner Rights and re-entry programs. The following segments aired on WPEB during the month of October, Tuesdays at 4pm.
