Sound and Visual Meditation with muthi reed and Angela Davis Johnson

Presented on this year’s Juneteenth celebration of freedom and resilience, please join Scribe Video Center for a special performance of remote meditation and dreaming using sound and video. Super Blues color Lux bath is an aural and sonic play considering the implications of grief, connection, loss, meditation, the Blues, crisis, revolution, change, breath, heart, vulnerability, kinship, Eros and tonality. 

Angela Davis Johnson and muthi reed are co-shapers for Hollerin Space, a choreographed improvisational happening, serving as a container for social gathering and dream culture. Hollerin Spaces are Black portals of rememory that have been activated within communities of Detroit, Michigan; Jackson, Mississippi; Atlanta, Georgia and Arden, North Carolina.
