The Encampments

A group of students set up camp on the lawn of Columbia University in New York to protest against the war in Gaza and their own university’s investment in the US and Israeli arms industry. An action that made waves around the world and quickly grew into the largest protest movement since the Vietnam War. THE ENCAMPMENTS follows the central organizers of the encampment as they are thrust into the spotlight and a recently detained student activist, Mahmoud Khalil.

On the Rooftop

In Jabalia Refugee Camp, the most densely populated camp in a very small space, life and laughter emerged from its alleys. There, guests are invited to share a cup of mint tea, and because not all surfaces are made of stones and wires, life is created on rooftops with flowers and green leaves.
