Since 2003, Scribe Video Center’s Precious Places Community History project has facilitated the production of 109 short documentaries about the public spaces, buildings, parks in the greater Philadelphia area that reveal the untold story of our region. Produced collaboratively with members of local communities, these carefully crafted films draw from the memories of neighbors to tell the story and the contemporary struggles of the places where we live.

Please join Scribe in celebrating the premiere of eight new films in the Precious Places Community History project including documentaries on Ardmore, PA; Central High School in Logan, Cobbs Creek Community Environmental Education Center in Cobbs Creek Park; the Fettersville neighborhood of Camden, NJ; Mt. Zion AME Church in Devon, PA; Pine Forge Academy in Pine Forge, PA; the Pyramid Club in North Central and Sullivan Progress Plaza/Human Services Center in North Philadelphia.
