This Special Learning Session is designed for both actors and directors.Through exercises, critiques and discussions, the workshop will explore the craft and techniques of performing for the camera and how to analyze a script before going on camera. Participants will address the many ways body, expression and speech can be framed in relation to the lens. The workshop will also help a director understand an actor’s needs.

Anna Maria Horsford is a beloved and decorated film and television actor, known for her comedic and dramatic roles in Amen, The Wayans Bros., The Shield, The Bold and the Beautiful, Grey’s Anatomy, The Last O.G. and Pose. She attended Manhattan’s School of Performing Arts. Ms. Horsford began her career as part of the production team of Ellis Hailzlip’s Soul!
