Precious Places Community History Project Premiere

Since 2003, Scribe Video Center’s Precious Places Community History project has facilitated the production of 118short documentaries about the public spaces, buildings, parks in the greater Philadelphia area that reveal the untold story of our region. Produced collaboratively with members of local communities, these carefully crafted films draw from the memories of neighbors to tell the story and the contemporary struggles of the places where we live.

UC Townhomes in West Philadelphia and the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Jenkintown.
