Ghina (working title - Hong Kong, Italy, USA, 2016, 35 min) – by Oscar nominee Christine Choy, explores the history of Chinese migrants to Ghana by not only examining their personal motivations for relocation, but also delving into the Chinese psyche as Ghana’s foreign “Other.”

It has been 20 years since riots swept LA after the not guilty verdict in the Rodney King trial. The film Riots Remembrance and Rodney King (USA, 2015, 29 min) draws upon the collective memories, of victims, perpetrators, LAPD, LAFD, city councilmen, & witnesses. It includes exclusive never before seen interview footage of Rodney King weeks before his passing in June 2012

Also screening, The Taking of South Central…Philadelphia (USA, 10 min) by Odunde and Scribe Video Center, exploring the displacement of longtime residents and community change in South Philadelphia.
