HOME: A ROCKUMENTARY (USA, 2018, 56 mins) directed by Ben Kalina
This doc spends a year behind-the-scenes with public school music teacher Chris Argerakis (Mr. A.) and the middle school rock band, HOME, at the Andrew Jackson School in South Philadelphia. Jackson is a neighborhood school which has thrived in spite of budget cuts and layoffs through the efforts of its dynamic principal, Lisa Kaplan. HOME was named by the middle school students who find sanctuary with their instruments and band-mates as they tour around the city to play at some of its biggest venues.

Preceded by Who Said You Can’t Dance (USA, 2018, 11:43 mins) directed by David Block
This documentary showcases a program that enables wheelchair users with multiple disabilities to feel like active members of society by learning to dance with standing partners.
