Introduction to Non-Linear Editing (Apple’s Final Cut Pro 7)

Learn basic editing with Apple’s Final Cut Pro 7, an exciting and powerful non-linear editing program that combines professional capability with consumer-level accessibility. This course builds a strong foundation that gets you started with logging, capturing, editing, transitions and much more. Apple computer knowledge is highly recommended. Participants will be expected to edit assignments outside of class either at their own Final Cut Pro workstation or at Scribe.

INSTRUCTOR: Justin Crowell is a Philadelphia-based Editor, Motion Graphics Artist, and Composer. His work ranges from documentary to narrative work to music videos. His specialty is color grading in Apple Color and Adobe After Effects. He also works in Final Cut 7 and X, Avid Media Composer, Apple Motion, Cinema 4d, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Apple Logic, Soundtrack Pro and Avid Pro Tools.
