Blogging and Vlogging

First, there were web-logs or “blogs,” on-line personal journals that have redefined global communication and community. And now, there are video-web-logs or “vlogs,” which allow web users to post short videos, along with text, and music on the Internet. This workshops will guide participants through the steps of creating a blog and then look at the process of adding moving images to blogs. Come with ideas, text, images, digital video and prepare to experiment and create!
John Henry Thompson is the inventor of Lingo, Macromedia Director’s
scripting language, and is currently developing an application called DICE (Digital
Instrument for Computer Expression.) A graduate of M.I.T., he has helped nurture a
generation of multi-media professionals as a graduate level college professor at New
York University, and is the author of the Macromedia Director Lingo Workshop book.
