Fee: $150. This workshop is free to current Community Visions participants. Pre-registration is required.

Geared to beginners and those who want to refresh their skills, this workshop will teach camera operation, interior and exterior lighting design, composition and varied shooting styles and techniques. This workshop meets twice a week. Although not required, participants are encouraged to bring their own cameras, if they have them, in order to get the most from this workshop.

Ryan Saunders produces documentaries, multimedia and web projects. His films include Bacchanal Time, a documentary on the Caribbean-styled carnivals in North America and Mother Dot’s Philadelphia, about the Philadelphia jazz scene, produced in collaboration with Malkia Lydia. Saunders is Coordinator of Scribe’s Community Visions program.
