Register for a Workshop

Scribe offers hands-on workshops covering all facets of Digital Media production, including Producing, Scriptwriting for Documentary and Fiction, Camera and Lighting, Non-Linear Editing, and Audio Production. All of our workshops provide students with knowledge and tools to explore video creatively as a means of personal expression. All workshops are held at Scribe Video Center unless otherwise indicated.

How to Register

Students must pre-register for all workshops. We only take registrations over the phone or in person. Why? We do this to help you make your workshop selection. A primary goal of Scribe workshops is to assist students in the production of new work. So this is also an opportunity to learn if you are working on a video project.

Attend an Orientation

A sampling of everything Scribe Video Center has to offer, Orientations will direct you to the resources, workshops and programs that can get your project off the ground. Scribe staff will be on hand to answer your questions and to give details about all our program offerings. If you are new to Scribe, please plan to attend one of these introductory sessions.

Payment Information

A minimum payment is also preferable prior to the first day of class. Payments may be made by personal check, money order, credit card or in cash. We accept Visa, Master Card or American Express).

To pay in cash, you must register in person at Scribe.

If you would like to make a Credit Card payment over the phone you may call 215-222-4201, Monday through Friday between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, to register or get more information and assistance on how to complete the registration.

Refunds and Rescheduling

There are no refunds unless Scribe cancels a class. Scribe reserves the right to cancel classes or replace instructors. A minimum enrollment is needed for each workshop. If this minimum is not met at least two weeks prior to the first workshop meeting, the workshop may be postponed or canceled and a full refund will be issued or credit your payment towards another registration. In the event of participant cancellation, the registration fee may be applied to another workshop--the fee will not be refunded. If you change your registration less than 3 days before the workshop starts, we will credit your payment to another workshop, minus a 10% administrative fee.
