In 2008, Scribe will celebrate its 25th anniversary season. We plan to honor this milestone by organizing a series of events throughout 2008 that recognize and build on the work and themes that Scribe has been exploring for 25 years. We envision a year of new work, of screenings, of exhibitions and installations, and of collaboration with many of the arts and media organizations in Philadelphia and the surrounding region. We also hope to celebrate with parties and special fundraising events. One of the goals of the fundraising for this season will be the preservation of all of Scribe’s video catalogue and the upgrading of Scribe’s equipment so that it can continue its work for the next 25 years.
