In 2012, Scribe will celebrate its 30th anniversary season. We plan to honor this milestone by organizing a series of events throughout the year that recognize and build upon the work and themes that Scribe has been exploring since we began. We envision a year of new work, screenings, exhibitions and installations, and collaboration with many of the arts and media organizations in Philadelphia region. We also hope to celebrate with parties and special fundraising events. One of the goals of the fundraising for this season will be the preservation of Scribe’s video catalogue and the upgrading of our equipment including purchasing software programs to stay current with constantly changing industry standards, re-designing our website and to increase Scribe’s outreach to communities in the region so that we can continue our work for the next 30 years.
